William Felix-Rodriguez, M.D., almost pursued a career in music. He says he had two applications in his hands -- one for musical school and one for medical school. Lucky for us and our patients, the talented pianist chose med school.
Dr. Felix is Jewett's non-surgical orthopaedic physician. From putting on casts to splinting fractures, he's there for all your emergency and non-surgical care needs.
As one of Jewett's newest physicians, he says he's award of the practice's storied history and place in the community.
"It's 75 years of experience, 75 years of providing the best care to patients. it pays off when we have that loyalty reciprocated by the patients as they come back. We can see generations of family members coming back just because of that great name of Jewett within the Central Florida community. It's 75 years of providing the best care."
He's quickly established a bond with his patients. When his child was unexpectedly born with Down syndrome, he says the patients at Jewett wrapped their arms around him and helped him to heal and move forward with his new way of life. Find out how much their support meant to his family.
